Clinton Vincent “747” Bell, 60, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died at the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria, La., Sunday, November 2.


He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Collins Bell of Donaldsonville; three sisters, Yvonne Bell Baker of Baker, La., Victoria M. Bell and Sylvia Bell Williams of Baton Rouge, La.; four brothers, Rufus Bell of Donaldsonville, Victor Eugene Bell of Austin, Tx., and Ronald and the Rev. Vernell Bell of Tulsa, Ok.; two stepsons, Lawrence and Roy Cooper; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Bell.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a truck driver with the U.S. Postal Service in New Orleans, La., and Baton Rouge.

He was buried at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Donaldsonville.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Donaldsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
