Conrad Joseph Lirette, 99, a resident of Bayou Black, La., died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.
He is survived by his daughters, Constance “Connie” Casente, Mary Elizabeth (Vest) Lirette and Alexis (Stephen) Hellman; stepchild, Celseter J. Brien; 11 grandchildren, Sal Casente Jr., Mary Catherine Glass, Lisa Hebert, Susan Connick, Arlen Vest, Derek Vest, Tara Vest, and Daniel, John, Stephen and Alexander Hellman; six step-grandchildren, Shane and Brian Brien, Aimee Johnson, and Al Jean, Gary Paul and Jack Lirette; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Reggie Sr., Dale, Charles Elliot and Murray Lirette and Shirley Thibodeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Tregre Lirette; first wife, Bertha Mey Baldwin; parents, Alexander and Edith Prejean Lirette; stepson, Jean Mey Lirette; son-in-law, Sal Casente; two grandchildren, Gina Maria and Mary Elizabeth Casente; two brothers, Alexander and Raymond Lirette; and three sisters, Edith Lirette, Marion Russell and Elizabeth Dawson.
He is buried at Bayou Black Cemetery.
