Constance “Connie” Marie Savoie Pinero, 66, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at 4:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph “Joe” Pinero Jr.; two sons, Brian Pinero and Destin Pinero; two daughters, Donna Wedgeworth and Desiree P. Billiot; one brother, Joseph Savoie; one sister, Kathy Savoie; nine grandchildren, Courtney Wedgeworth, Sarah Wedgeworth, Heather Dardar, Jordan Pinero, Jake Billiot, Rory Hamner, Blaize Hamner, Conner Hamner and Duncan Hamner; and mother-in-law, Edith Browne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eves Junius Savoie Jr. and Angeilena Adams Savoie; one son, Joseph “Joey” Pinero III; and two brothers, Eves Junius Savoie III and Bert Savoie.
Constance was a homemaker, a charter member of the Krewe of Cleopatra, Alabama Girlfriend Club and Pin Spliters Bowling League at Creole Lanes.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
