Crystal Smith, 29, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Aug. 29.
She is survived by her father, Joseph Smith Sr.; one son, Dekota Mosley; two daughters, Kelbea and Abbey Smith; two brothers, Paul “JJ” and wife Brandi Smith, and Joseph Smith Jr.; four sisters, Eula and husband Trey Falgout, Amanda and husband Amos Celestine, Erica Smith and Leah Griffin; grandmother, Eula Mae Verdin; one uncle, Shelton and wife Savannah Parfait; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernadette Parfait Smith; grandparents, Houston Dennis Parfait, Della Marie Parfait, Paul Lester Smith and Robert Anthony Verdin; and great-grandparents, Edmond and Edna Verrett.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Grand Caillou Baptist Church.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
