Curt John Ordoyne, 42, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died peacefully at home with his family, Tuesday, April 28.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tammy Babin Ordoyne; sons, Nathan, Nicholas and Tyler Ordoyne; daughter, Kaitlyn Ordoyne; grandchildren, Ethan Dickson Ordoyne and Leila Kay Ordoyne; parents, Gordon Ordoyne and Faye Benoit Ordoyne; sisters, Leslie McCarthey and Dana Callendar; grandmother, Irene Ordoyne; and special relatives, Ned Jr. and Priscilla Benoit, and Dale, Barbara and Sharon Leonard.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ned P. Benoit Sr. and Marie Louise LeBlanc Benoit, and Wilton J. Ordoyne; and godfather, Linwood “Poopedo” Benoit Sr.

A special thanks to all who helped care for Curt during the past five years, especially his caregivers, Janessa, Dawn, Josh and Mallorie.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
