Curtis Randy Scrimpshire, 42, a native of Laurel, MS., and resident of Houma, LA., died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007.


Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda LeBoeuf Scrimpshire; his mother, Shirley Logan Scrimpshire; his birth mother, Fay Harrington; two sons, Joseph Ray and Curtis Randy Scrimpshire II; five daughters, Kristy F. Bourg, Kelly K. Levron, Cassandra R. Scrimpshire, Miranda Che’ Scrimpshire and Belinda M. Scrimpshire; one brother, Curtis Raymond Scrimpshire; two sisters, Rita and Elaine; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Ray Scrimpshire; his birth father, Dwey Joseph Harrington; one brother, Curtis Randall Scrimpshire; and one sister, Joyce.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
