Daisy Grant Jackson, 80, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, March 4, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Raynoble, Roy (Ann Marie) and Rev. Terryl (Jewelhelene) Jackson; daughters, Marvalis (Ernest) Hall, Vanester Lagarde, and Berryl (Patrick) Merrill; brothers; McKinley Grant and Ambrose (Clara), Edward (Sherry) and Sterling (Gaydell) Nixon; 27 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Southern Jackson Jr.; and parents, McKinley Grant Sr. and Rose Nixon.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Sunlight Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. (Jones)
