Daisy Oncale Durocher, 90, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.


She is survived by her daughters, Beulah (Ivon) Sharp and Mary (Wayne) Acosta; brothers, Norton and Russell Oncale; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Durocher; daughters, Bessie Simoneaux and Hazel Daze’; parents, Freddie and Blanche Oncale; and brothers, Herbert and Herman Oncale.

Burial was at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Chackbay. (Landry’s)
