Daisy Sevin Ellender, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Ellender Jr.; sons, Ralph III, Glenn (Melinda) and Jimmie (Susie) Ellender; daughter, Michele (Brent) Melancon; brother, Nolan (Gloria) Sevin; sister, Irene Hoglind, Olivia (Junius) Porche and Matilda (Bill) Barbo; seven grandchildren, Christopher Fonseca, Joseph Ellender, Jennifer Crochet, Tonja Ellender, Katie Romero, Tiffany Ellender and Chelsea Melancon; great-grandchildren, Keith Crochet, Gracie Billiot and Nicholas Ellender; son, Tiger Whitney; and godchild, Lori Whitney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen Joseph Sevin Jr. and Felicia LeBlanc Sevin; brother, Dewey Sevin; sister, Elaine (Andrew) Falcon; grandparents, Allen J. Sr. and Julianne LeBoeuf Sevin and Aurestile and Celeste Pellegrin LeBlanc.
Mrs. Ellender was a homemaker and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
