Local teenager was a true hero, always fought the good fight

January 16, 2012Dale Evans Neil, 62, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died at 9:28 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2012.
Mr. Neil was Catholic.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Neil; sons, Bobby, Donnie and Dale Neil; brothers, Eric and Tommy Neil; sisters, Bernadette Blanchard and Bridget Adams; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudy Neil; father, John Neil; son, Jeremy Neil; and grandparents, Joseph and Vagnolia Neil and John and Olla Hotard.
Burial was at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart)
