Dale Michael Rogers, 64, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007.


Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.


He is survived by two brothers, Arden “Punkin” Rogers and wife, Becky, of Golden Meadow, LA. and Ronnie “Fru” Rogers and companion, Henrietta Gaspard, of Houma, LA.; one sister, Paulette Rogers Fournier and husband, Wade Sr., of Houma; five nephews and nieces; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble Rogers and Eunice Domangue Rogers; one sister-in-law, Gail Thibodaux Rogers; and two nephews, Mac McDowell and Kris Danos.

He was a retired office clerk with Gulf Belting and Gasket and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

He was an avid LSU Tiger and New Orleans Saints fan and was involved with several Mardi Gras krewes in New Orleans.

Chauvin Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
