Dale Paul Toups Sr., 64, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 6:43 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010.
Mr. Toups was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He is survived by his companion, Naomi Rousse; son, Dale Toups Jr.; stepsons, Cody and Cory Rousse; daughters, Sara Jo (Ted) Plaisance, Cammy (Ralph Jr. “G-Boy”) Lagarde and Alyssa Thomas; brothers, Donovan, Cleary, Kearney, Lindel, Dean, Reed, Randy “Joe” and Lane Toups; sisters, Dolores Foreman, Brenda Martinez, Connie Matherne and Cathy Durio; and five grandchildren, Brittney, Courtney and Whitney Plaisance, and Shea’ and Dale “Tre” Toups.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bess Dufrene Toups; three brothers, Alvin, Tommy and Sandy Toups; and three sisters Wanda Toups, Shillie Sampey and Lois Walker.
He is buried at St. Anthony Cemetery in Gheens.
