Daniel J. DeRoche Sr., 59, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 8:36 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Religious service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Georgie D. DeRoche; his parents, Wilson P. DeRoche Sr. and Bella L. DeRoche; one son, Daniel James DeRoche Jr. and wife, Windy; two daughters, Jean DeRoche Larpenter and husband, Toby, and Suzy DeRoche Delaune and husband, Alvin Jr.; six brothers, Terry Sr., Sammy, Wilson Jr., Randy, Jerome Sr. and Jeff DeRoche Sr.; five grandchildren, Kirsten Krohn, Linsey DeRoche, Alvin Delaune III, Emily DeRoche and Aaron Delaune; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
