Council restricts multi-colored tombs
January 23, 2012Daniel “Danny” Joseph Savoie, 62, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012.
Mr. Savoie was a U.S. Navy veteran who enjoyed making metal art.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Savoie; daughter, Shoneek Savoie; sisters, Mary (John) Martin, and Donna Savoie; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Jeannette Savoie; and grandparents, Paul and Antoinette Savoie and Forest and Camilla Price.
Visitation will be 9 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma with military and memorial services to follow. (Samart)
