Daniel “Big Mack” Smith Sr., 74, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, June 16, 2011.
Mr. Smith was a member of New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and Blaine C. Clay Masonic Lodge # 14 F & AM.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Smith; sons, Daniel Smith Jr. and Terrance Ross; daughter, Vanessa (Joseph Jr.) Harris; brothers, Fred, Nickolas Sr. and General Smith; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morde and Albirtha Smith; sisters, Louise Williams, Dorothy Hite and Carol and Rosa Smith; and brothers, Thomas, Norris, John and Frank Smith.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at New Mt. Pilgrim B.C. with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Mechanicville Emmanuel B.C. Cemetery. (Community)
