Darnell “Rip-Dino” Joseph, 49, a native and resident of Raceland, died Monday, April 30, 2007.


He is survived by his companion, Delores Jackson of Raceland; his parents, Margie Sims and Jessie Joseph of Raceland; two sons, Darnell Jamar Joseph and Shamor Darnell Joseph, both of Mississippi; four brothers, Jessie Joseph Jr. of Houston, Oscar Gray Jr. and wife, Tylene, of New Iberia, Zachary Joseph and wife, Vonetta, of Dallas and Donald Williams and wife, Debra; and five sisters, Angela Joseph and husband, Wallace, of Raceland, Lisa Joseph of Oakland, Calif., Sandra Joseph Hutchinson and husband, James, of Houston, Keshia Trenee Gray of Houston and Roxanne Joseph Lewis and husband, Leslie, of Houma.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Renee Joseph; and his grandparents, Eva Bell Promise, Cornelius Joseph, Clarence Joseph and Mose Sims.

He was Baptist.
