Darrell Paul Scott, 38, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, May 29.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Foret Scott; stepson, Johnnie Brown; stepdaughter, Jessica Brown; brothers, Reggie Scott and Horace Scott Jr.; and sister, Racheal Scott.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Duplantis Scott.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are welcome.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with the funeral services to follow. He will be buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
