T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Dave H. Gros, 83, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
Mr. Gros worked for Supreme Sugars for 45 years before retiring in 1987.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eola “Lee” Benoit Gros; son, Ronnie “Hip” Gros; daughters, Janet Bergeron, Debra Talbot and Sonya Sierra; brother, Jerry Gros; sister, Mae Dietzway; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Euphrosine Ayo Gros; daughter, Patricia Arsenaux; brother, Jacques Gros; and sisters, Gertrude Lutz and Maud Gros.
He is buried at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
