David Alex “Wahoo” Landry, Sr., 52, native of Venice, La. and resident of Montegut, La., died Sunday, May 31, at 1:58 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Landry; parents, Russell and Eurma Landry; three sons, David Landry, Jr. and wife Tabitha, Joey Landry and wife Alexis, and Nicholas Landry and companion Blair; one daughter Natasha Landry and fiancé Philip; seven grandchildren, Loghan Abshire, David Landry, III, Collin Mills, Philip Castell, Jr., Gavin Castell, Owen Landry, and Daigan Theriot; two brothers, Rudy Landry and wife Lisa, and Danny Landry and wife Terry; three sisters, Revedie Frisella and husband Daniel, Madeline Kendrick and husband John, and Naomi Landry.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard LeBoeuf.
Visitation will be 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma and Crematorium, Inc. in Houma, La. with Religious Services to follow.
In lieu of flower donations for funeral service would be appreciated.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
