David Zaccheous “King Roo” Harris, Sr., 23, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Thursday, July 19, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa Laurent; one son, David Zaccheous Harris, Jr.; two brothers, Joseph Harris and Cordell Bell; two sisters, Shalla Harris and Melan Smith; his grandparents, Dolores and Norris Laurent; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Harris; and his paternal grandparents.
David was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie.
He is buried at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Vacherie.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
