David Paul Percle, 72, a native and resident of Donner, La., died Wednesday, March 16, 2011.


Mr. Percle was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was retired from Shell Oil Industry after 20 years of service and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards and golfing. He also enjoyed taking care of the Donner Recreational Center.

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Judy and Nancy (Dennis) Karl; sons, Tim Sr. (Trudy), Steven Sr. (Geri) and Tommy Sr. (Shirley) Percle; sister, Rosadel (Bobby) Boudreaux; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Prejean Percle; companion, Earline Theriot Jackson; parents, Duffy and Mabel Boudreaux Percle; and brothers, Melvin, Duffy, Daniel and Malcolm Percle.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
