Dawayne E. Bergeron, 45, a native of Rayne, La., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Monday, July 14.
He is survived by his companion, Melissa Richoux; mother, Frida Murphy; sons, Nickalous Bergeron, Chad Lee, Maurice Arceneaux and Wesley Richoux; daughter, Zozett Richoux; brother, Darrell Bergeron; sister, Kathleen B. Callais; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Bergeron; and stepfather, Carl Murphy Jr.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
