Lenten Gumbo served for 20 years, still going strong
March 19, 2010Dawn Celestine Naquin, 37, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died at 10:21 a.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010.
Ms. Naquin was a parishioner of Montegut Baptist Church. She loved music and books.
She is survived by her mother, MaryLee (Lloyd) Ellender; brothers, Carlton Jr. (Kim), Cleveland (Melissa), Faron (Lynn) and Brian (Vicki) Naquin, and Keith (Paula) Eschette; sisters, Mary (Gerald) Prosperie, Rachel (Jason) Kibadeaux, Pauline (Elsre) Brunet, Myra (Keith) Trahan and Melinda (Todd) Trosclair.
She was predeceased by her parents, Carlton Joseph Naquin; maternal grandparents, Cleveland Sr. and Regina Dupre; paternal grandparents, James Sr. and Cecile Naquin.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Montegut Baptist Church.
She will be buried at Bisland Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
