Deacon Harold Wayne “Fly” Kelly, 50, died Wednesday, August 20.
He is survived by his mother, Jessie L. Johnson of Baton Rouge, La.; son, Harold Wayne Clark and wife Choicey of Morgan City, La.; brothers, Charlie D. Kelly and wife Sandra of Patterson, La., and Kelvin and Gary Johnson both of Baton Rouge; sisters, Janice Joubert Washington and husband David of Amelia, La., and Kelly Johnson of Baton Rouge; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aruthur “Son: Johnson, Sr.; brothers, Kermit and Aruthur Johnson, Jr.; and grandparents, Phillip and Elenar Kelly.
He was a Pentecostal of Christian Church of God In Christ where he served on the Deacon Board and the Men’s Auxiliary Board.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christian Church of God In Christ.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 30, at Morning Glory Ministries in Morgan City with the funeral to follow. He will be buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
