February 1, 2010De’Anslen “Lovey” Tyrese Sims, 22, a Houma, La., native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010.
Mr. Sims was Baptist.
He is survived by his parents, Lois M. Sims of Houma, and Isaac Smith of Matteson, Ill.; brothers, Demetrius Smith of Lansing, Mich., Randell Robertson Sr. of Houma, Krisopher Johnson of Lansing and Devin Epps of Matteson; and sisters, Laswanake Robertson of Houma, Shandra Smith of Lansing, Jalyn Smith and Latoya Washington, both of Lansing, and De’Ja Hood of Matteson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorrane “Coo Boo” Sims Brandley and Henry Smith.
Visitation will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Community Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Sims will be buried at Crescent Farm Cemetery.
