Debra Ann Duplantis, 59, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Ms. Duplantis was devoted to God. She loved her family and loved helping others and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Safe Harbor Ministries.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Billiot; son, Alcee Billiot; brothers, Wayne, Mark and Jessie Duplantis; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Paul Duplantis; son, Paul Billiot; husband, Gilday Cavalier; and sister, Helen Duplantis.
Burial is at Rogers Cemetery. (Samart)
