Debra Sue Anderson, 61, a native of Elyria, Ohio, and resident of Chauvin, La., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.
Mrs. Anderson was an energetic firecracker of a woman. She attended First Baptist Church of Houma, La., was a league bowler and volunteered at the Chauvin Senior Citizen Center. She loved fishing, gardening, in-depth conversations with God while manning her lawnmower, spending time with her family and red Corvettes.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Anderson; daughters, Karen (John) Robichaux and Kristine (Shawn) Naquin; son, Jonathon (Brandi) Pepper; stepdaughter, Shannon Anderson; sisters, Carol Parks and Donna LaCoure; brother, Flay Hoyt; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Theodra Long; and daughter, Kelcie Pepper. (Chauvin)
