Della Naquin Aucoin, 77, a native and resident of Labadieville, LA., died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007.


Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Landry’s Funeral Home in Labadieville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Aucoin; one son, Arthur Aucoin Jr.; two daughters, Deborah A. Benoit and Deidre A. Schwab; six grandchildren, Philip Benoit Jr., Yancy Benoit, Eric Aucoin, Brett Aucoin, Kayla Schwab Hebert and Drew Schwab; and five great-grandchildren, Britton Benoit, Emma Benoit, Lexie Benoit, Aiden Aucoin and Joel Gros.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide Naquin and Inez Navarre Naquin; and three brothers, Ridley Naquin, Lindon Naquin and Earl Naquin.

Landry’s Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
