Della Cantrelle

Della Mary Perrin Cantrelle, 77, a native of Jefferson Parish and resident of Houma, La. died Monday, November 26, 2007, at 4:30 a.m.

She is survived two sons, Roland Anthony Cantrelle and his wife Ruby and Glen Charles Cantrelle and his wife Darla; one daughter, Beverly Brunet; one brother, Huey Perrin; three sisters, Yvonne Creppel, Irene Belsome, and Betty Couevas; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Joseph Cantrelle, Sr.; one son, Nolan Cantrelle, Jr.; one brother, Wagner Perrin, Jr.; two sisters, Madeline Gisclair and Agnes Campbell; and one granddaughter, Dawn Marie Brunet.

Della was a devout Christian and a member of Shield of God Ministries. She was a prominent and dedicated member of the church and loved by family, friends, and the church congregation.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 27, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 28, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. She will be buried in Grace Christian Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
