December 28, 2010Della Ann Griffin Scales Sanders, 83, a native of Jeanerette, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick Scales, and Steven (Pamela), Gerald Jr. (Gene Ellen) and Glen (Nancy) Sanders; daughters, Brigitte (Ronald) Crespo, Patricia Scales, Joy Chaisson, and Judy (Keith) Martin; grandchildren, Brett Babin, Bradley Tabor, Anthony Voisin, Brianna Scales, Merton Jr., Stephanie and Mark Chaisson, Gerald III, James, Andrew, Ryans and Adam Sanders, Thomas Crochet III and Nicole Vidal; brothers, Allie Jr. (Brenda), Robert (Virginia) and John (Jane) Griffin; and brother-in-law, V.J. Crochet.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Wallace Scales; second husband, Gerald Henry Sanders Sr.; parents, Allie Joseph and Eve Antoinette Savoie Griffin; one grandson: Mark Quick Jr.; and sisters, Rosella Crochet, and Helen and Marie Louise Griffin.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
