Delores Williams

Delores “Duck” Williams, 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, La., died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Williams; son, Alphonse (Faye) Williams; daughters, Carolyn Williams, Janice Harris and Rhoma (Richard) Falls; brother, Lloyd (Mildred) Johnson Sr.; sisters, Eula Marie Woods and Onedia (Fritz) Conley; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson Sr. and Louise Wise Johnson; brothers, Henderson Jr., MacArthur, Alex Sr., Willie and Levy Johnson; and sisters, Mable Jackson, Nancy Mitchell, Mary Carr, Tilley Johnson and Octavia Johnson.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church, the Usher Board and the Beautification Club.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until funeral time, at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church. The service will begin at 11 a.m.

She is buried at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church Cemetery.
