Denise “Neicy” Damen, 52, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2010.
Mrs. Damen was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a parishioner of the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Randle Damen; stepmother, Marie Ledet; daughter, Katie Damen; son, Steven Damen; sister, Debbie (John) Bowen; sister-in-law, Jill Ledet; and two godchildren, Beau Ledet and Adam Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Jeanette Ledet; and one brother, A.J. Ledet.
She is interred at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 8200 Hampson St., New Orleans, La., 70118.
