Dennis Joseph Rivero, 68, a long time resident of Bridge City, La., and recent resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, Dec. 27, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Zeringue Rivero; children, Rickey Joseph Rivero and Cathy (Ned Jr.) Dufrene; three grandchildren, Pfc. Aaron, Taylor and Katie Dufrene; sister, Nedra (Elray) Cassard; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law, Rhea (Mitch) Abadie, Michael (Nanette) Zeringue and Lori (James) Lucas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Delta Alberado Rivero; one son, David James Rivero; and two brothers, Gary and Kenneth Rivero.
He is buried at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery.
