Derek “Dee” John Aucoin, 35, a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana, died June 26, 2014.
Mr. Aucoin enjoyed watching LSU and Saints football with his son.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Himel Aucoin; son, Ethan Aucoin; brothers, Darryl (Anh Thu) and Bryan (Chantell) Aucoin; sister, Michelle Aucoin Bilello; and nieces and nephews, Ryan, Kyle, and Keri Bilello, and Katie, Elizabeth, Brant and Brittani Aucoin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Berthon Aucoin; grandparents, Junius and Medora Himel, Valerie Adams Aucoin Tabor and Berthon Joseph Aucoin Sr.; and step-grandfather, Johnny Tabor.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
