Derrick Lyndell “Bam” Carvin, 33, a native of Gibson, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011.
Mr. Carvin was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and an Assistant Manager at Tobacco Plus.
He is survived by his companion, Rona Williams; parents, Betty and James Carvin Jr.; daughter, Derariana Carvin; brothers, Dominque (Sophia) Carvin and Russell James; and sisters, Katrena, Kosher and Jaymes Carvin.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Darian Carvin; grandparents, Issac Aldridge Sr., Margie and James Givens Sr., and Odile and James Sr. Carvin.
He is buried at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
