Derrick “D.J.” Frank Williams Jr., 18, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 a few hours before his brother, Zane, Williams who passed that afternoon.


Derrick loved football, video games and shooting pool. He was a senior at South Terrebonne High School and had recently enlisted in the Marine Corps where he would have begun boot camp in August. He received second place in a state competition in Machine Shop and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and girls. He was very comedic and well loved and very close to his brother. Derrick will be truly missed by all who knew him.


He is survived by his father, Derrick Frank Williams Sr.; mother, Catina Sevin Muster; stepfather, Corey Campbell; stepbrother, Willie LeBouef; nephew, Malachi LeBouef; aunts, Sherri Williams, Sabrina Dupre, Rebecca Meier, Regina Authement; uncle, Glenn Sevin; cousins, Tia and Jacob Williams, Misty and Brina Dupre, Megan, Shelby and Russel Meier III, Ricky Dupre, Tori Authement; grandparents, Ruby and Willis Sevin; and godparents, Toni Henry and Raymond Billiot.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxine and Frank Williams.
