Dianne Davis Folse, 54, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, March 7.


She is survived by her husband, Joseph Folse of Raceland; son Earl Davis and wife Shawnette of Lithonia Ga.; daughter, Lolita M. Holly of Houma, La.; sisters, Rose Lee Robinson, Emma Lee Mott, and Gail Davis of Raceland and Rose Ann Wright of Nashville, Tn.; step-sisters, Irma Jones, Lisa Boyd and Linda Jones-Triggs all of Raceland; brothers, Leonard Williams of New Orleans, La., Howard Mathews of South Carolina, and Clarence Davis and Lawrence Davis of Raceland; step-brother, Nicholas Jones of Raceland; and grandchildren, Justin, Miyh, Kayla, Mark and J’Aliyah Davis all of Atlanta, Ga.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Jones and Fannie Mae Davis; and brother, Kevin Jones.

She was Baptist and served as President of the Usher Board. She enjoyed going to church.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with the religious service to follow. She will be buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
