Dolcina M. “Doll” Melancon, 76, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died at 10:14 p.m. Saturday, July 5.
She is survived by three sons, Roland Melancon Jr., Rickey Melancon and Frank Terrebonne; two daughters, Carolyn M. Toups and Cheryl Melancon; one brother, Raymond Serigny; one sister, Virgis Sanamo; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Melancon Sr.; her parents, Maxim and Elmire Crosby Serigny; four brothers, Roger, A.J., Eugene and Roland Serigny; and three sisters, Delores Serigny, Viola Serigny and Alzina Terrebonne.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
