Dolly Rita Klein, 84, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died Friday, July 8, 2011.
Mrs. Klein was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She loved getting together with her relatives dancing and listening to music that they played at the house. She was an avid card and bingo player and a member of the local AARP chapter. Dolly will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Howard Thompson; daughter, Trudy (M.J.) Dupuy; brother, Gerald Fabre; sisters: Rena Deslatte and Kay Suttoon; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Thompson Sr., Orville Minton and Bill Klein; parents, Clement and Tilly Fabre Jr.; three brothers; and six sisters.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 11 and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Twin City Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Berwick. Interment will be at Berwick Mausoleum. (Twin City)
