Dolores Durapau Loupe, 80, a native of Taff, La., died Tuesday, September 30.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clarence Loupe Sr.; her children, Clarence Loupe Jr., Steven Loupe and wife Karen, Karen Loupe Schexnaydre and husband Gary, Kevin Loupe and wife Marie, Ronald Loupe and wife Cathy, Shirley Marsiglia and husband Ken, Jeffrey Loupe and wife Lisa, Wayne Loupe, Jennifer Savoie, Jaunita Schaubhut and husband Dwayne, Wade Loupe, and Eileen Breaux and husband Roland; one sister, Marjorie Durapau Dempster; sister-in-law of Brand Loupe, Rita Matherne, Lena Sellers and Lucky Loupe; her grandchildren, Justin Loupe, Ryan Loupe, Brandi Thomas, Ty Towndrow, Stephanie Barreca, Alida Barraca, Derrill Schexnaydre, Ron Schexnaydre, Trey Schexnaydre, Amy Schexnaydre, James Loupe, Ronald Loupe Jr., Katrisha Loupe, Toby Loupe, Kenny Marsiglia, Michael Marsiglia, Jeffrey Loupe Jr., Taylor Loupe, Diana Rios, Lauren Loupe, Nicholas Loupe, Katherine Loupe, Matthew Savoie, William Cortez, Meagean Schaubhut, Roland Breaux Jr., Courtney Breaux, Brandon “BJ” Breaux and Tiffany Breaux; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marie Durapau; and her brothers-in-law, Taylor, Lester and Dudley Loupe.
She was a homemaker and commercial fisherman’s wife, who loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was loved by everyone she met. She loved to dance with her husband at the Smile Inn. She graduated from Hahnville High School.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands, La., with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
