Dolores Ledet Lafont, 83, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Mrs. Lafont was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. She was a Eucharistic minister for many years and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Holy Name Society.
She is survived by her children, Darlene Loupe and Larry (Gail) and Michael Sr. (Yvonne) Lafont; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theard Lafont Jr.; parents, Willie Sr. and Camelia Ledet; and brothers, Willie Jr. and Herman Sr. Ledet.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
