May 17, 2012Dolores Pitre Cheramie, 71, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Patterson, La., died Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Mrs. Cheramie was a kind and loving person and enjoyed any time spent with her family. She was a retired medical transcriptionist.
She is survived by her son, Shane (Ray Ann) Cheramie; daughter, Selena (Casey) Shannon; sister, Phyllis (Ernie) Zullo; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Cheramie; and parents, Joseph and Bella Pitre.
Burial was at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
