Dolores “Dee” Martinez Pitre, 73, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
Mrs. Pitre was an artist, ceramist and organized Las Acadians Theater.
She is survived by her daughters, Carlotta Toups, Sheryl Harrison and Stephanie Ryman; brothers, Michael and Carl Martinez; sisters, Sylvia Ledet, Pricilla Mounic, Rachael Martinez, Althea Martin and Kathy Louviere; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations for Masses are preferred. (Samart-Mothe)
