April 18, 2012Donald J. “Don” Pierce, 71, a native and resident of Larose, La., died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
Mr. Pierce was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed fruit trees.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Audrey Pierce; mother, Irene Pierce; sons, Darrel and Dean (Debbie) Pierce; daughters, Donna (Ricardo) Vega and Danielle (Johnny Jr.) Rogers; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vories Pierce.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
