Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Donald Joseph Jones, 73, a resident of Hammond, La., and a native of New Iberia, La., died Monday, March 1, 2010, at Landmark Nursing Care in Hammond.
Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Jones is survived by his daughters, Sonja (Matt) Curry of Akron, Ohio, and Francine (Glenn) Todd of Sante Fe Spring, Calif.; sons, Christopher (Rebecca) Jones of Whittier, Calif., and Phillip Jones of Norwalk, Calif.; brother, Ananias Hershel Jones of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the chapel.
He will be buried at Fitzgerald Cemetery in Centerville.
