Donald Nelson, 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
Mr. Nelson was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Kenyata Sulcer; mother, Elouise Livas Nelson; brothers, Mitchell Sr. and Gilbert Sr. (Rosalind) Nelson; sisters, Eliza and Sheena Nelson and Geraldine (Carl) Celestin; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Nelson Sr.; brother, Samuel Nelson Jr.; sister, Mildred Broomfield; grandparents, Mamie Smith and Albert Livas Sr. and Elizabeth Gordy and Joseph Nelson Sr.; and one niece, Dena Nelson.
He is buried at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Gray, La. (Community)
