Odomes’ lifelong friend to testify against him

August 29, 2011Donald “Duck” Norman, 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011.
Mr. Norman was a retired cement finisher. He was a member of Dularge Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shelita Norman; son, Donald Thomas; daughters, Charlina (Desmon) Allen, Rayona and Donna Thomas; brothers, Thomas Stadium, James (Glenda) Norman and Jimmie (Gwendolyn) Burns; sister, Ruth (Albert) Mickey; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Davis and Velma Norman; and grandparents, Arthur and Melvina Norman.
Burial was at Dularge Community Baptist Church Cemetery. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
