Donald “Red” Earl Moore, 73, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Lake Charles, La., died Sunday, June 1, at 8:15 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, Mike Runnels and wife Karen, Patrick Runnels and wife Angel and Danny Belicek; daughters, Margie Whitney and husband Donald, Sandra Moore, Donna Knight and husband Tom, Nancy Liner and husband Troy and Diane Womack and companion Debbie Brown; former wife, Nora L. Schumaker; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda “Woody” N. Hales Moore; parents, Sanford and Emma Hibbelier Moore; brother, Bobby L. Moore; and sister, Pat Moore Clapp.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a religious service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
