January 11, 2011Donald Witherwax, 71, a native of Woodlawn, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:27 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010.
Mr. WItherwax served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Dupre Witherwax; son, Perry (Robin) Witherwax; stepson, Terry Pellegrin; daughters, Donna (Brian) Powers and Cynthia (Johnny) Mouton; stepdaughter, Lydia King; brother, Mark Witherwax Charles; sister, Jackie Guillory; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Beatrice Mott Witherwax; and two brothers, Johnny and Perry Wayne Witherwax.
