January 30, 2012Donna Marie Varnado Bass, 61, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.
Ms. Bass was a bridge tender and nurse. She was Baptist.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Martin; son, James Varnado; brother, Vincent Varnado; nieve, Leslie Varnado; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Martin; and sister, Annie Varnado.
Burial was at Deweyville Cemetery. (Community)
